ABERFELDYAberfeldy Whisky Distillery founded in 1869 near the town with same name by Dewar brothers , Tommy and John. Now the distillery owned by Bacardi Limited. Aberfeldy Scottish Gaelic means “The confluence of Palladius”. Comes from Aber = confluence and Phellaidh (Old Gaelic) = Palladius, a Christian missionary.
Only two official versions currently exist, 12 years and 21 years of age.

Tasting Notes of Aberfeldy Whisky

  • Colour Warm gold and amber.
  • Nose A creamy, honeyed nose with dried fruits, evolves on the orange peel, chocolate and vanilla-bourbon.
  • Taste Good amount of sweetness, orange marmalade, vanilla, oak wood and spices. Soft and creamy.
  • Finish Long finish. Spices of the finish are coated with woody notes (oak). Reveals ripe fruits.
