Aberfeldy Whisky Distillery founded in 1869 near the town with same name by Dewar brothers , Tommy and John. Now the distillery owned by Bacardi Limited. Aberfeldy Scottish Gaelic means “The confluence of Palladius”. Comes from Aber = confluence and Phellaidh (Old Gaelic) = Palladius, a Christian missionary.
Only two official versions currently exist, 12 years and 21 years of age.
The taste of the whiskies under the label Aberfeldy characterized by oily, strong and fruity flavor that is perfect digestif.
